Master's Hand Training is a training and boarding facility located northwest of Montrose, Colorado on a beautiful working cattle ranch. Providing access to both the round pen and to endless miles of BLM land, this is the perfect setting for you 
and your horse.
Master's Hand Training is owned and operated by Andrew and Sarah Bowman.
With a special interest in the Versatility Ranch Horse, Andrew and Sarah work to have every horse well equipped to handle life whatever direction you choose to take your horse.
NEWS:
Andrew recently competed in the Extreme Team Mustang Makeover where 40 trainers each worked with a wild mustang for approxamently three months before going to Fort Collins for the competition. There they demonstrated what they taught their BLM mustang. The three classes they were required to compete in were Reining, Trail, and Working Cow Horse. Andrew placed 4th in Reining! When all the scores were added together, Andrew and his horse Little Joe came in 8th, qualifying for The Top 10 Finals. The trainers were also divided into two teams led by Al Dunning and Ken McNabb, both well-know and highly respected horsemen. Andrew had the privilege of learning from both of them, and rode on Al Dunning's team. Little Joe was adopted after the competition by Joyce and her daughter from eastern Colorado. Congratulations, Joyce!

Sarah is competing in a series of Versatility Ranch Horse Competitions which will run over the course of the summer. So far she has competed in three shows winning high point in her division at two of them. She is competing on her and Andrew's 4 year old, quarter horse gelding named Larado. They bought him as a yearling and have trained him themselves.
