Horse Training, Boarding, and Lessons
Master's Hand Training is a training and boarding facility located northwest of Montrose, Colorado on a beautiful working cattle ranch. Providing access to both the round pen and to endless miles of BLM land, this is the perfect setting for you and your horse.
Master's Hand Training is owned and operated by Andrew and Sarah Bowman. They do all the training themselves.

Andrew Bowman
Andrew grew up on a cattle ranch and has been riding since he was age six. He
held highschool jobs such as wrangling
for a guest ranch, and training horses. He
has extensive experience handling cattle using quiet,
gentle methods which carry over to how he works
horses. Andrew worked for local horse trainer Joe
Westcott for a season, where he acquired more experience
starting colts. Later he, along with his wife Sarah, worked on a
large
cattle ranch in Crawford, furthering his ranching knowledge.
Sarah Bowman
Sarah,
at age twelve, started riding at a Morgan stable and
showed Saddleseat (an English division). Later she pasture
boarded horses and participated in 4-H. She worked at a local
stable for Penny Walsh where she learned about training and
breeding horses. Sarah showed in 4-H, Open, AQHA, and
NRHA shows. She continued her education in Cedar Rapids, IA
receiving an AAS in Equine Science. She interned with world
champion reining trainer, Steve Schwartzenberger.
